Built by an editor who was tired of doing the same thing forty times a week.
Every podcast clip goes through the same steps: find the moment, trim it, reframe it for vertical, caption it, pick the words to highlight, add music, export, send it to the client, wait, fix, send again. Most of those steps are the same every time.
PodClip started as a tool a working podcast editor built to handle those steps on their own clips, so the time goes into the choices that actually make a clip good. It grew into a full editor: AI that does a sensible first pass, and controls for everything it decides.
What we care about
- The editor has the last word. Everything the AI does can be changed.
- Clips that look edited, not generated. Framing, timing and type that follow what a person would do.
- Less back-and-forth. One link for the client, answers in one place.
